Utah sets bold goal to revive Great Salt Lake by 2034 Winter Olympics

Gov. Spencer Cox and a coalition of state, business, and conservation leaders have pledged to raise the Great Salt Lake by seven feet — reaching a “healthy” level of 4,198 feet — before the 2034 Winter Olympics.
