Together, these 4 bills would largely solve the illegal immigration crisis. (Addressing "sanctuary cities" is a start, but the problem is so much bigger.) These bills would keep would-be illegal aliens out, remove the jobs magnet, encourage the illegal aliens here to leave, and end the fraud and abuse that has ushered in millions of "legal" and legalized illegal immigrants over the years.
Yes, it's true! These bills can turn back the clock on 25 years of imported poverty, lawlessness, overcrowding, environmental damage, and wage stagnation. (You can read the specifics of the bills towards the bottom of this letter.) What Rep. Goodlatte needs now is a tremendous outpouring of citizens telling Congress that they demand true reform.
We don't raise campaign cash to "throw the bums out" (as angry voters might say). In the past decade, Congressmen have been booted out of office at a rate unprecedented in modern times, yet many of the new ones behave as badly as the old ones. So many break their campaign promises and ignore their mandates. The real problem is the influence of entrenched special interest groups and corporate lobbyists claiming to represent the people.
If you don't believe our citizen activism accomplishes much, think how much worse America's problems would be with 33 million more people competing for jobs, so many more millions of Americans displaced into welfare and poverty, so many more children needing schools, drivers needing highway construction, and power plants for 33 million more people having to stay beneath pollution limits.
We won that battle, but now it's time to start advancing OUR agenda for the American people.
Now is the time to quit worrying about how much worse the future could be, and start making the future better.
Here are FOUR crucial policy changes we are pushing RIGHT NOW to remedy the current immigration crisis. And Chairman Goodlatte's House Judiciary Committee has already passed these four great bills to enact them.
1.
Remove obstacles to enforcement. Trey Gowdy's bill -- the Michael Davis, Jr. and Danny Oliver in Honor of State and Local Law Enforcement Act (H.R.1148) -- would not just ban sanctuary cities. It would also bolster the interior immigration enforcement system dismantled by the Obama Administration and defund President Obama's unconstitutional executive actions on immigration.
2.
Prevent Illegal Aliens from displacing Americans, including legal immigrants. Rep. Lamar Smith's (R-Texas) mandatory E-Verify bill -- the Legal Workforce Act (H.R.1147) -- would require all businesses to check new hires through this web-based system within three years.
3.
Send unaccompanied minors home to their parents. Rep. John Carter's (R-Texas) Protection of Children Act (H.R.1149) would prevent unaccompanied alien children (UACs) without a legitimate humanitarian claim from using loopholes and inconsistencies in immigration law to remain in the U.S. and instead be returned home.
4.
Protect the border and reform asylum laws. Rep. Jason Chaffetz' Asylum Reform and Border Protection Act of 2015 (H.R.1153) would make critical improvements to an asylum system that is overwhelmed with fraud and abuse."

"Those who have suffered at the hands of illegal immigrants have been invited to testify to the Senate next week on the crimes they or their families faced, as GOP lawmakers in Congress try to refocus the immigration debate away from legalization and toward enforcement.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley, said he’ll convene a hearing July 21 to hear from the victims themselves, saying it’s an area Democrats ignored when they held power in Congress.

"Donald Trump shook up all presidential candidates with a stand against illegal immigration. Ironically, all of the democratic and republican candidates failed our Constitution in the past—and if you like to bet—those same candidates on both sides of the aisle would continue to allow the invasion of our country.
For the first time in eight years, we celebrate a red blooded, true-blue American running for the office of the president.
He’s against illegal immigration. He promised to bring the hammer down on illegals, their employers and Mexico itself. He demands better trade deals from China. He put other nations on notice. That’s why Trump now leads in the polls, which created a snit in the mainstream media and everyone feeding off the trough of illegal and legal immigration.
I like what Clash Daily writer Doug Giles said, “What unmistakably comes across when I watch Donald is not only are his wife and daughter gorgeous, but he loves America and he hates those that hate us, our freedoms, our founding docs, our prosperity and our national security; and he is not nice about it. He’s not trying to be everybody’s buddy. He’s not worried if some CNN piss-ant doesn’t like his “tone”. Trump understands we’re economically, militarily and culturally screwed and our day doesn’t need another politically correct weathervane but a patriotic lightning rod to lead us.”
The fact remains: illegal aliens kill thousands of Americans while raping our women and stealing from all of us. They distribute drugs, shoplift and displace our working poor. They get away with it because of 276 “sanctuary cities” along with our Congress and president twiddle their thumbs while the big corporation money pays bribes to keep it going. Top firms like www.FairUS.org show that an average of 500,000 to 700,000 illegal aliens STILL jump our borders every year."

I think the 276 sanctuary cities are overpopulation hell holes and should be nuked to lower US emissions and put up a temporary solar shield of aerosols. Similar to other hell holes called megacities all over Earth. Lower emissions and population 95% within 8 years. Then we'll have a 50% chance of not going extinct!

"Part 1: What is the carrying capacity of America’s landmass? How many more people can it sustain as to water, energy and resources? How can it maintain quality of life with the projected 100,000,000 (million) added immigrants within 30 years? How can it continue exponential growth in a finite area? In the past four weeks, I explored the entire length of California from Crescent City at the northern state line to the border with Mexico. Mind you California houses 38 million people on its way to 58 million within 30 years. What I witnessed: 12 million dead trees last year from the drought. Bone dry grasslands from top to bottom. Extreme water shortages! Massive traffic gridlock from San Francisco to San Diego! Horrific air pollution! Incredible crowding! Thousands of acres of plastic covering croplands. Worst of all, I watched endless earthmovers and cranes building thousands of apartment buildings and laying pavement for as far as the eye could see.
I witnessed wildfires burning out of control from their “exceptional drought.” Even more sobering, state parks placed Porta-Potties in front of the bathrooms because of acute water shortages. Showers cost $1.75 for two minutes.
Yet, California adds 1,655 people via legal and illegal immigration every single day of the year. When you work the math, plus birth rates, you see where that state faces an added 20 million people. A full 98 percent of California’s growth stems from immigration. (Source: www.CapsWeb.org)

Good question. At 38 million people, California may soon be unable to meet this most basic resource need. And yet, even as California’s population growth is being fueled by immigration, the state government over which he presides continues to provide new incentives for illegal aliens to take up residence. On top of the many other benefits California has lavished on illegal aliens in recent years, a bill to fund health insurance for illegal aliens may soon be hitting his desk."

It would have been nice if everyone were more intelligent and homogenous. More American pollution by more people here is against rapid decarbonization. America goes down with the rest of the world when we should have lead the way with population reduction and decarbonization.
It is far too late for an easy way to save the biosphere. How can everyone go emission free within 8 years? No super volcano, but maybe a major disaster that crashes the unstable overpopulation? Or a good nuclear war that kills 95% of the people to make the necessary emissions reduction plus give a several year aerosol winter to cool temporarily.
Too little, too late will not save the biosphere. Solar radiation control 'geo-engineering' has not stopped the relentless loss of polar ice, and last year's methane blowholes were the start of waking up the Arctic Methane Monster. If you make it fifteen more years, it will be hell on Earth with 8.5 billion and heat going up exponentially to extinction of all surface life.
The dumbing down of the US caused us not to lead the way for going emission free or lowered 95%. Except for gross immigration, we were on the way to sustainability in the 1970s. Now, thanks to a bunch of traitors from LBJ to Carter, Reagan, Bushes, Clintoon, and obummer, we are now a 2nd world nation who couldn't lead the way anymore. It has been sad to witness this deterioration induced on my country. No fear, I probably don't have that much time left, and my 48 years of environmental activism and study have been useless along with leading by example. 10 years here and there has been no progress, really. I pray for a miracle to save all the species left.
