Another very big no-no is posting copyrighted material on the EnviroLink Forum. If you do not have explicit permission to do so, you can not post the entire contents of an article here. I have been getting complaints from copyright holders about content posted here by some of our users (Donnie... listen carefully) and I have to take action. From this point forward, any user who posts copyrighted material will have their posting priveleges revoked as well as their posting deleted.
If you want to reference articles on other websites or in print publications, you are allowed to provide an excerpt of them under fair use laws. At most, this means posting a few sentences and a link (or citation) to the original source.
One other bit of housekeeping (sorry for all of the rule enforcement, but this one is related to the copyright thing)... as per the rules of the forum, you must provide your valid e-mail address in your profile. If an e-mail to you bounces for any reason, your account will be revoked.
I will be stringently enforcing these rules from this moment forward so as to avoid any copyright violation problems. I need everyone's help in doing this, if we can self-police this place (ie: tell a poster who is violating these rules to edit their post, if they do not, report it in the feedback section) then it will help to keep things running smoothly.
