ok..just curious as I heard you could....I used to moderate a board and I could log in under anyones account if I had wanted to.. I never did obviously as that would be unethical...BUT it was possible.

No moderators cannot do any of those things. I would take rumors with a grain of salt as they are usually meant to cause drama and usually have no basis in truth....they have an agenda. You should know that as well, you have been on the other side of rumors and statements made against you and there was no basis in truth either and were just meant to start or incite drama against you.
