I would be grateful if you told us the software or link you use to check on multiposting article sources. Do you pay for this service or is it free to ARA's as well?
I copied and pasted the first 10 words of your posting into Google, which last I checked was free for everyone. If you want I can give Sergey or Larry a call and make sure that you have extra special access to their homepage.

The only other webmaster I've encountered who uses it

And I care because...?

I know that some servers offer the software and bandwidth
Envirolink has for free.
Do you pay for the bandwidth Josh? Would you have the option of expanding the site if you paid for more bandwidth?
EnviroLink's bandwidth and servers are provided through a partnership with the Institute for Global Communications, another non-profit organization that pioneered online activism. I sit on the advisory board of IGC. I receive no compensation from either EnviroLink nor IGC.

If my memory serves, Envirolink portrayed itself as pro ARA
in getting ARA's to use it as the server for websites.
In this respect, Envirolink has changed.
Your memory does not serve. I was the founder of EnviroLink and have been leading it ever since in one capacity or another. EnviroLink has never, ever taken a position on any issue other than the protecting the First Ammendment. EnviroLink provided free hosting services between 1991-2003 (or maybe 2004) to hundreds, if not thousands of organizations. Many of those organizations were animal rights, welfare and environmental organizations.
I don't understand what you're getting at and I'm not sure I really care.
