i don't want credit, NS I simply want that the list of actions to take which i worked on not be buried in the middle of someone
else's thread... my thread was begun 1st... despite what wayne says
the most successful forums (in terms of membership and views)
do not merge threads... threadmerge is a controlling thing to do
how do you know that yours was started first if my thread was
deleted? i manage a forum with exactly the same software
... i remember when your thread appeared...
Your thread was not deleted it was merged so the posts were kept in the same order as they were originally posted. This means we have proof of the order. For example your first post, which you claim was first was posted : Posted: Fri Feb 03, 2006 8:36 am
as is shown here:

While NT's first post was posted Thu Feb 02, 2006 5:30 pm
which is over 15 hours earlier as is shown here:

The thread were merged because they were on the exact same subject and there were three threads on the subject of seals at the same time. It was getting confusing for people as to which thread they were in. It was a means by which the board could be maintained with less confusion.
Just because a poster may want their thread to be the first does not give them any particular right to that position, especially when there was a prior thread on the same subject.
