IMO everyone involved got a little touchy and tried to flex a bit....AL went overboard on the moderating, but others went overboard the other way with the sarcasm and constant referrals to it. As I posted elsewhere , everyone knows what is acceptable and as adults we shouldn't need supervisors to oversee our behaviour. |

I think that if the excessive use of such language by some is toned down and not used in a way that is directed at someone or their behavior, whether they are members of this board or not, that will solve the majority of the problem, as that would negate the use of some of the offensive words in question. As for the rest, I agree that everyone should know what is and is not apropriate as most have not had prior issue with this in the past. |
