Post subject:  Ranka's complaint

Due to animallover's restricted understanding, my posts are being censored and cut. I protest.

Ranka.

About time too IMO.

Why should you bother anyway ? After all you consider us to be childish and you consistently show no respect for this forum's members or the rules !

I believe it is your restricted understanding that is the problem. I also read the posts in question and concur with the determinations AL made. This is not an adult only forum and as such we have rules concerning inappropriate posting. If you are not familiar with the rules, you should be, but here is a link and the specific rules concerning offensive content.

rules.html

Quote:
Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. that violate the EnviroLink community standards will not be tolerated. The EnviroLink team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.

All because animallover does not understand a cultural reference. Perhaps I should have cited "Bring on the Lucie (Freda Peeple) by John Lennon:

No actually, we, the board admin, all agree, that your postings are now inappropriate and in violation of the forum rules. This is not an issue that is up for debate and will not be allowed. Your posts had nothing to do with any cultural reference regardless of where you pulled them from nor is that a vaild excuse for using them as your intent was quite clear.

You have 2 choices in this matter...either immediately stop with the inappropriate posting or you will receive your final warning and be banned. This choice is yours.

No the ego would be yours as you are the person that feels you are above the rules and they do not apply to you.

It is your problem as your "culture" does not seem to recognize what is and is not appropriate for a general audience, which includes children. This means no overt sexual references, regardless of the source. As AL noted you have but two choices in the matter, especially since I had to edit your post here and you will be banned if you continue. Bans for sexual content have been historically permanent, in case you were thinking of pushing the issue further with more "quotes".

You don't know me so explain how you come to this description.
IMO you are very quick to criticise others. This is typical of you...you have nothing to say in reply so you attack others .Perhaps you should look inward at your own behaviour and personality.
I won't waste any more of my time on you as you don't deserve the attention.

Any more attacks on people and I shall request Josh to ban you.

Ok, this idiocy needs to stop. The feedback area is just for that... feedback. It is not a place to debate issues or for users to snark at each other.

Ranka... I hear your concern, but any post here that contains the language you originally made is absolutely and unquestionably not appropriate under our rules. Trying to hide behind the assertion that it is a quote of someone else is absurd.

Everyone here needs to know that I have told the volunteer moderators that I don't think they should waste time editing users' posts, they should just delete them and warn the user. If you have to delete a user's posts too often after a bunch of warnings, then ban them. To be quite honest, Animallover is being way too lenient in situations like this... so appreciate it, don't complain about it.

If you really feel that our rules around language here are that draconian, then feel free to go elsewhere.
