Boy, the Warmunists are just phoning it in. Once again they demonstrate a willful ignorance of our National Debt. We don't have the money for this anymore. They would rather see their pet projects that feed their agenda continue than to see money spent on feeding kids. Great. Just great.

If anything this piece proves these people have been awash in taxpayers cash for decades. Time for that to change. Many on this board have pointed out time after time the population of this planet is increasing. Its time to employ a rigorous cost/benefit analysis to accompany any government funded study. Would we rather fund chumps that do studies on how we're all going to die that don't benefit anything or anyone, or should we be allocate funds to feed this growing population?

The numbers are stark. Carbon dioxide emissions: up 60 percent. Global temperature: up six-tenths of a degree. Population: up 1.7 billion people. Sea level: up 3 inches. U.S. extreme weather: up 30 percent. Ice sheets in Greenland and Antarctica: down 4.9 trillion tons of ice.

Scientists often disagreeing with other scientists make predictions and correct them. Specific predictions are the least scientific element of climate science but to give them more latitude are generally offered as a range, unlike MB's silly cartoons . Denialists of course are almost always wrong but they have the strange characteristic of seldom correcting their errors long after they have been proved to be bogus. It is what distinguishes science from ideology.
