In 2007, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change concluded that African agriculture and food security would face major risks under the influence of climate change. With an analysis of more recent assessments, scientists have confirmed this projection and indicated that agriculture everywhere in Africa runs some risk of negative impacts from climate change. see http://ec.europa.eu/environment/integra ... 244na2.pdf

There are places in Africa that seem to linger in a state of innmate dismise for decades. How we in the rest of the world can best help them remains a debated subject.

Do gooders gave them green revolution tech, seeds, on site help, money, and food since WWII, and all they did was breed themselves back into abject poverty. Climate change makes it worse. I think they will crash even before India, and pollution from India is much to blame for the disruption of their monsoons and soot dimming effects on yields.
The USA sure doesn't have the money to save them from themselves, or Indian pollution effects. [-( :-({|=  #-o

I had a house guest long time friend over last week, who said Minneapolis is getting inundated by Somalis who tap into the social services and one big reason the state went broke. It is harder, he said, for a US citizen and Minnesota native to get social services, than an illegal alien moslem. They've overbred their place, and now ruin my home town. Let them die, and stop all immigration, now!!! :x :x
