I just read it, too. What it means, mainly, to me, is that the time between tundra methane self release and oceanic methane self-release will be much closer together than the 1K to 1.5K years originally thought. Thermageddon, or AETM, could be in 300 to 700 years instead.
It certainly should give more incentive to reduce emissions 90% within a decade, but the denialism/business as usual crowd will just have their eyes glaze over and pretend not to see.
