I just read it, too. What it means, mainly, to me, is that the time between tundra methane self release and oceanic methane self-release will be much closer together than the 1K to 1.5K years originally thought. Thermageddon, or AETM, could be in 300 to 700 years instead. :shock:
It certainly should give more incentive to reduce emissions 90% within a decade, but the denialism/business as usual crowd will just have their eyes glaze over and pretend not to see. [-(
