Fence sitters some people in this world are beginning to wise up.

http://dailycaller.com/2016/04/01/brita ... subsidies/

Quote:
Great Britain slashed its generous subsidies for solar power Friday and is under immense pressure to end its carbon tax as industry threatens to leave the country.

And, so you know its not just me making this disturbing observation.

Quote:
A 2009 study by the National Bureau of Economic Research found that a carbon tax would make the tax burden of the poorest households three times greater than the richest households.

And, an update on a topic touched on recently.

Quote:
Another woman has accused former chairman of United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Rajendra Pachauri of sexual harassment.

So it appears this guy is a serial pervert.

Its all about money fence sitters. Climate change is the biggest shell game on the planet.

http://dailycaller.com/2016/04/04/europ ... s-scandal/

Quote:
European Union climate and energy commissioner Miguel Arias Cañete has been ensnared in the controversy surrounding the newly-released “Panama Papers,” which detail how the global warming czar’s wife invested in a shady Panama-based law firm.

Cañete’s wife, Micaela Domecq Solís-Beaumont, reportedly was “empowered to approve transactions of Rinconada Investments Group SA, a Panama company registered in 2005 which was in existence while her husband Miguel Arias Cañete held public positions in Spain and the European Union,” according to The Spain Report.

Quote:
She was listed as authorized signatory together with members of her Spanish aristocratic Domecq family. Six siblings were also connected to Rinconada Investments Group,” TSP noted, citing reports by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).

Document’s showing Solís-Beaumont’s involvement with RIG were part of 11.5 million leaked documents from the Panama-based law firm obtained by ICIJ. The so-called “Panama Papers” detail hundreds of shell companies used by politicians and executives to hide their wealth and possibly engage in shady deals.

The beat goes on fence sitters.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/201 ... medium=RSS

Quote:
As of March 27, researchers had published 133 “consensus-skeptical” papers this year, bringing to 660 the number of such studies appearing since January 2014, blogger Kenneth Richard wrote on the skeptics website NoTricksZone.

“There has been quite an uptick in papers that question the consensus this year,” said Anthony Watts, who runs the influential WattsUpWithThat? website.

Studies published on his website and others include in the past few weeks include those that say:

• An exhaustive study published April 7 in Nature by University of Stockholm researchers examining hydrological patterns going back 1,200 years found that climate models cannot accurately predict extreme rainfall and drought.

• An article published April 4 in Nature Geoscience linked the melting of the Greenland ice sheets to hot spot activity within the Earth’s core, a finding that “must be included in studies of the future response to climate change,” said lead author Irina Rogozhina, a scientist at the Center for Marine Environmental Sciences at the University of Bremen in Germany.

• A March 21 paper by meteorologist Martin Hertzberg and chemist Hans Schreuder, evaluating figures behind the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change “consensus,” concluded that “nothing in the data supports the supposition that atmospheric CO2 is a driver of weather or climate.”

Quote:
In spite of that research — or maybe because of it — Democrats have renewed their efforts to clamp down on climate dissent.

Two weeks ago, 17 attorneys general — 16 Democrats and Mr. Walker, an independent — announced that they would investigate and prosecute climate-related “fraud,” citing investigations by journalism outlets accusing Exxon Mobil Corp. of stifling its own scientific research in support of the “settled science.”

What do you think fence sitters. Is the First Amendment allowed in public debate surrounding the "science?" This article is a bit misleading. 16 of these guys want nothing to do with this. That is why some flunky from the Virgin Islands has taken the lead on this. But, this will never see the light of day in a court room. Why? Discovery is a bitch.

WASHINGTON -- Global warming is shifting the way the Earth wobbles on its polar axis, a new NASA study finds.

Melting ice sheets - especially in Greenland - are changing the distribution of weight on Earth. And that has caused both the North Pole and the wobble, which is called polar motion, to change course, according to a study published Friday in the journal Science Advances.

Scientists and navigators have been accurately measuring the true pole and polar motion since 1899 and for almost the entire 20th century they migrated a bit toward Canada. But that has changed with this century and now it's moving toward England, said study lead author Surendra Adhikari at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab.

"The recent shift from the 20th-century direction is very dramatic," Adhikari said.

While scientists say the shift is harmless, it is meaningful. Jonathan Overpeck, professor of geosciences at the University of Arizona who wasn't part of the study, said "this highlights how real and profoundly large an impact humans are having on the planet."

The publication is listed as an Introduction of a special issue along with other articles labeled "Food for thought", which does not indicate this to be the usual type of publication in a peer reviewed journal. This is supported by the glacial 3 days between submission and acceptance of the article.

Fence sitters ever wonder who and what these groups are all about. Ever wonder about the Union for Concerned Scientists?

Since becoming a member of the Union of Concerned Scientists when I found out all you needed was a valid credit card, my curiosity about who and what they really are has spiked.

I decided to put that theory to the test. I am very proud to announce that a member of my family has been accepted into this prestigious organization. With pride, I present new UCS member, Kenji Watts:

Yes, Kenji is our dog. Apparently, the claim is true, all that is required to be a member of the illustrious group of “concerned scientists” is a valid credit card. No discerning questions were asked of me when I prepared Kenji’s application and no follow up check after the application was done. I simply put in his name, address, and provided a valid credit card that matched the address.

You just can't make this stuff up.

Yet you continue to make it up.

Membership is not limited to scientists, but it is to those who present the possible solutions. When one uses such a weak misrepresentation it really shows how poor their integrity is and how badly their position is limited.

It just keeps coming for this guy. Or so it seems he would like it.

Quote:
Two more women have stepped forward, accusing ex UN IPCC Climate Chief Rajendra Pachauri of workplace sexual harassment.

I think serious questions have to be asked about this whole situation.

Quote:
The women who were allegedly subject to this abuse deserve our sympathy. But the fact Pachauri allegedly got away with gross sexual misconduct for an extended period, in my opinion opens real questions about the broader conduct of the IPCC. If the UN IPCC’s less than transparent workplace culture facilitated the coverup of outrageous sexual abuse and bullying by the boss over an extended period, what else are they concealing?

Yes, that seem to be the norm isn't it fence sitters. "What else are they concealing?"

Business as usual fence sitters.

http://dailycaller.com/2016/05/17/lawsu ... cy-grants/

Quote:
A free market legal group is suing the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for allegedly stacking a scientific advisory panel on air pollution with researchers who had received more than $190 million in grants from the agency.

The Energy & Environment Legal Institute (EELI) is suing EPA on behalf of the Western States Trucking Association and Dr. James Enstrom, a retired University of California-Los Angeles epidemiologist who was blacklisted for challenging EPA claims about particulate matter.

“The EPA has stacked the panel, which is required by law to be independent and unbiased, with researchers who have received over $190 million in discretionary grants from the EPA,” said Steve Milloy, an attorney with EELI, in a statement.

This clearly violates the law and makes a mockery of the notion of ‘independent’ scientific review,” he said.

Washington, D.C. – Today, 13 Science, Space, and Technology Committee Republicans sent letters to 17 state attorneys general and eight environmental activist organizations. The letters request documents related to the groups’ coordinated efforts to deprive companies, nonprofit organizations, scientists and scholars of their First Amendment rights and their ability to fund and conduct scientific research free from intimidation and threats of prosecution.

Americans are entitled to express their views on matters of science and public policy even if certain groups disagree.

Former Vice President Al Gore spoke at the March 29 press conference and addressed the need to prosecute fossil fuel energy companies for engaging in fraud. Gore and the Green 20’s efforts are part of a larger strategy to achieve the president’s sweeping, job-killing climate change agenda.

Reports show 14 green-tech firms that Gore invested in benefited from over $2.5 billion in loans, grants and tax breaks as part of the administration’s push to fund U.S. renewable energy industry with taxpayer funds.

It seems the lack of understanding of science is only surpassed by the lack of understanding of the law. There is NO way any activist organization can impact the "right to free speech" because that right only prevents the government from passing legislation to prevent such free speech. Then again we are seeing the political moves of the GOP and deniers ..... they are not that up to speed on anything.
