Hi, everyone. I'm an environmental science major and for my english class, I have to write an argumentative essay about ocean pollution. I know there are a lot of different aspects to ocean pollution like what kinds of pollution, where it comes from, and how it affects marine life and overall health of the ocean. I have to pick a topic that has 2 clear choices (ex. yes vs no, black vs white, etc). I was thinking about doing my topic on whether or not humans (in general) are doing enough to clean up the ocean, but I feel like that is already implying that there is so much that we need to take steps now to make a change and I do not want to imply anything just from my title. Any suggestions?

p.s. I can't use a topic that has not been researched much because I do have to use at least 3 scholarly articles and my school's research database does not have much information on things like ocean acidification.

Thanks!

If you need to search for an appropriate and vital topic, it's better to check what Articles on Ocean pollution are trending now, like here:

Btw, I've a similar task and I'm looking for the arguments to do my homework on Environmental Philosophy. Do you think it will be enough to use only one source for the arguments (taken from Mars sci-fi series based on the book How We'll Live on Mars by Stephen Petranek)? What other documentaries could be helpful?
