Genetically engineered salmon eat up to five times as much as ordinary species of salmon do. If these frankenfish ever escaped into to the wild and multiplied, they could conceivably put a lot of pressure on the ocean's existing, already fragile eco-system. www.cban.ca/?s=ge+salmon |
