A heads-up to American consumers! The genetically modified, non-browning Arctic apple will be hitting shelves in a few select grocery stores in the Midwestern United States this year.

As opposed to the genetically modified citrus they have been eating for decades?

Almost all of the canola grown in Canada today is genetically modified.

Genetically engineered salmon eat up to five times as much as ordinary species of salmon do. If these frankenfish ever escaped into to the wild and multiplied, they could conceivably put a lot of pressure on the ocean's existing, already fragile eco-system.
