arent comfortable with going vegan myself... I recycle, at times risking my life to do so... Are their ways to make meat more ecologicly sound? would like to ask. Something other then "Eat insects" please |

A few quick thoughts therein; A) which type of meat can have a impact. Venison makes more sense then factory-farmed beef, as a example. |

That's true. You'd have to trade part of your normal beef intake for venison but you'd never be able to trade it all. Of course; that's what sustainably raised fish and fowl are for.... |

Of course, the excess deer population can be harvested to add to the food supply and to make the deer population healthier and more sustainable in addition to the more sustainable beef production. |

If there was proper grazing methods put into place you could regenerate the ecosystem through the trampling and fertilization the animal creates as well as harvest a grass fed, free ranged, animal. You would need to move the animals from plot to plot to let the greens regrow but that can be done =D. |
