Well, the latest climate assessment is out and it basically says what most of us here have heard for years. But the Prez seems to be in epic denial. The sooner we get this bozo out of office, the better! |

You would think that with his age and high IQ that he would have understood the report. The only good things he has done are starting to enforce our immigration laws and border as we were promised in 1986, and got rid of NAFTA. The report was nothing really new, and still left out the anticipated time when extreme methane releases will happen. It used 2100 and 2050, as if it would not happen until then, when the projections from PIOMAS indicate a zero ice point over 1500GTs of methane hydrate in shallow water 2022 or so. They avoid the lazy S curve we are at the middle of the bottom curve with thermal max at the top, at +25*F from 1750 global average. Still trying to keep it within 1.5*C when we are at +1.73*C already, and they just move the goal posts for less. Clinton should have replaced all Gens 1-3 and all fossil fueled power plants with Gen 4 in 1994 instead of throwing the plans out as per Hansen's "Storms of My Grandchildren " 2009. Now the only thing that can cool the oceans enough is a man made Toba Event, well planned ahead with safe nuclear shutdown. and after the long global winter underground, with building 100,000+ Gen 4 powered CO2 to carbonate brick factories. 10,000+ tree planting drones for 3 trillion trees and 1,000 OMTEC refrigeration devices to keep the oceans cooled down for the several hundred years it takes to lower CO2 to 300ppm. |
