I thought their entire whaling fleet was destroyed in the tsunami, are they really spending any money on trying to rebuild it when there are so many more pressing needs in the country?? |

I seem to remember reading about a few groups who were able to return a few of the larger ships to the ocean where the close proximity of the ships allowed for an economy of scale reduction in the cost. This may have been one of those cases where the costs to the insurance companies to buy and dismantle the ships exceeded the cost to return them. |
