I've sent off a compassionate plea to the chinese ambassador, referring my letter to those that are concerned with, to end the aforementioned atrocities. I mentioned life is a lottery and he could be helping those that he could have had been born unto. Not sure if he could connect with that but it was worth a go.

I'll let you know what response I get.

Boyhood days of playing for fun
dissolved in the rays of the mourning sun
afternoon comes they are firing for real
dusk falls heavy on the corpse of steel.

You are insightful here Mothy and there's nothing like a good insight! =D>

Now, the last time I responded to something you wrote, you took offence and I hadn't meant to offend you. I want to again respond, but I assure you that I have no desire to offend.

You remind me of the character of "The Fool" in King Lear. He was the wisest of the lot and the voice of reason throughout that remakable play. He enlightens the reader to what the character of King Lear really is, and more importantly, he enlightens King Lear himself to his own folly.

The folly of those who identify so strongly with their nationhood is believing in nations to begin with.

A fool is what I am

Yes, I bet you did think I was an atheist. But the truth is .... I don't really know what an atheist is. How does one define such a thing as an atheist? I can only be an atheist in comparison to one who believes and without comparison i am not an atheist or anything else. Therefore, for one who believes in something, I guess I am one who doesn't believe in something .... Is that what I am? Someone says that something is true and I say that I don't think so .....

I can only be defined as an atheist by someone who believes in God. But as i don't believe in God .... can I be an atheist?

If I don't believe in God ... is their an opposite? Only people who believe could conceive of such a thing.

Only religious people believe in atheism. it is religious people who defined atheism to begin with. Without God, can one be atheist? I don't think so.

And besides, the discussion of God is not black and white. I do, for instance, have an experience of the sacred. But if I ascribed to some religion or some belief, I would never know the sacred. Wouldn't that be a shame?

Life is, by its very nature, alive. If I believed in one thing or another, I would be denying life. If I did that, I would probably be taking the same anti-depressants that you are taking.

This is it Mothy. xoxo Love you!
