You don't get it do you! LOVE!!!!! Celebrating the earthly incarnation of the messenger of peace and love and spiritual light with an orgy of bloodshed/killing and materialism!!!!!!!!! The very opposite of what it is all about.

Yes, but...

Slaughter, purchasing goods, and drinking to the point of a merry stupor doesn't detract from an ability to love. Next thing you know, someone will be telling us that we shouldn't dance. Err...too late.

slaughter is a major detraction from the 'the false' ability to love.

I shall ring this chickens neck and wish my neighbour a merry christmas. Doh! doh!

Doh! bloody doh! And what planet are you on? eh?

oh! bloody Doh!

Only according to certain faiths. Not in terms of science and data. There is nothing suggesting that slaughter, predation in general, or even incidental killing without any intention of consumption detracts from an ability to genuinely love and show affection for another....in humans or domestic animals.

Elaboration and intellectualization has always been the key to satisisfying mans tastes buds.

Try another one buddy.

To love is to love life, even the the death of the chicken who probably loves life will be rationalised by your taste buds.

All creatures perceive this reality from a given source. Once you tune into this source then things wil have more clarity.
