I am a third year student currently studying Animal Science.
For my Dissertation I am doing a study on the public knowledge of penalties imposed by breaking the laws set out in the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
I am also asking weather people think the penalties should be increased decreased or remain the same.
I would be very greatful if anyone on this forum was willing to take part in this survey.

Does this survey apply to people in other countries? Most of the people here are Americans and I am Canadian.

Anybody from a country outside of the uk do please feel free to take the survey also.
The main data is showing peoples beliefs on if welfare laws should be increased or decreased.
the specific questions about the UK law are there just to see if the general populace know the law and will not be heavily used in final write up.

I do not know the UK law, but answered the survey anyway. Shall we increase the jail sentences of dog abusers when the abattoir walls are not made of glass?
