Hi everyone, I've just signed up so thought I'd fill out the 'intro' bit... I'm an interior designer in the UK and super passionate about the environment, something I like to think I incorporate into my work  Also a keen gardener, photographer and mum to two! Welcome!! I too, am passionate about the environment and have walked the talk by having only one child, living totally on solar power, built an Earthship, compost, drive a hybrid, etc. "Research from Murtaugh and Schlax at Oregon State University shows that a hypothetical American woman who switches to a more fuel-efficient car, drives less, recycles, installs more efficient light bulbs, and replaces her refrigerator and windows with energy-saving models, would increase her carbon legacy by 40 times if she has two children." I'm sure it is similar for the UK, so you'll have to try that much harder to be more environmental. |
