Hey guys, Awesome to find this forum - what a cool place! My name's Alex Karasulas and I live in Auckland New Zealand. I've got two daughters and an amazing partner and a huge desire to see the world recognise its potential as a friendly, healthy, safe place to live and express love. Like anyone who's read enough internet articles on the matter I'm feeling a little desperate to see the human population working together to make our activities good for the environment, good for animals and good for ourselves. But I'm also incredibly optimistic about this happening - there's tons of evidence that we're heading in the right direction. One great example is this article I wrote about the gradual phasing out of animal testing worldwide: Oh yeah - I'm so optimistic about the future that I'm building a website called The Future's Gonna Be Awesome :) The main topic on the e-newspaper is Animal Welfare - that's the one I'm building a team of researchers and writers for at the moment. Anyway, I look forward to awesome discussions with everyone here - and envisioning a future where all creatures and mother earth are treated with the respect they deserve! Thanks! Alex |
