Hello there people,

I m Niall (Irish) and I'm new to this site. First up I just wanted to say hello and to give you a intro to the type of work which I am interested in.

I have a long academic background in geography and sustainability including teaching a planning course online. I been working in all sectors of planning for a number of years including local government, consultancy and (yes the dreaded) oil and gas. Before you judge me on the last one, I have a big interest in hitting the online world and sharing my knowledge and skills on 'sustainable development' in an original way.

I feel that the best way to drive sustainable development is to educate people to make their own choices and explore necessary alternative approaches.

I was just hoping to get a few thoughts off people on this site and to see if anyone can share their experience on education campaigns and in particular social media etc.

Thanks in advance,

Niall
