Hi, I just joined. I have had a passion for the environment for most of my life, but to be honest, I am starting to wonder about things recently. I am trying to go vegetarian, I am very pro-animal rights, I recycle, carpool as much as possible(the town I'm currently in is too small for public transit.) Unfortunately I still feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. It seems no matter what, the keystone xl still got built, and caused a spill; we have lost 2 national monuments and will possibly lose more, and I feel like there is nothing the little person can do against the big issues. I feel like I want to do more, but I don't know where to start. |

Welcome and well met! We need fresh blood in a major way here. Regarding the uphill trend we face: don't give up yet. It's always darkest before dawn. |

Protest the root cause of extremely gross long term human overpopulation. All you can do is live your life as low carbon as possible and zero kids. Real men build Earthships. I did, 20 years ago. 3 Rs forever. |
