Hey, Josh. I remember you as Turtle...striking fear into the hearts of the naughtiest users amongst us, myself included of course. Echat was the first talker I ever used and is still held fondly and nostalgically in my heart. I hear from a few people who went there, from time to time. Shame it all ended. |

Yeah... I've been contacted by a few people over the years that want to see it brought back. It's too great of a security threat to allow telnet connections, which is what the echat needed to work. There are some java-based chat systems out there, but none with the feel that the echat had. Not sure if there's much of a demand for it anyway. -josh |
