I love my Gorgeous Georgie cat... he was a rescue... but a beautiful Blue Persian Himalayan..
it has taken him over 3 years to even sit on my lap. I love him dearly and I love all animals.. I think they have life and breathe and eat and are part of our lives.. therefore.. we are part of theirs, too! I'm not an extremist.. but, I will defend.
