Fortunately, I live in paradise. I have never been anywhere where the air smelled so fresh. Costa Rica has a beautiful rain forest and the country is doing what it can to preserve it. Logging is strictly overseen and pollution to the rivers is controlled. Even the water is safe to drink. After reading a few threads, I wanted to introduce myself to this community. Howdy-do, Rich! It's fun to have new members and the more viewpoints the better methinx. We do get a touch rugged at times. A sense of humor and body-armour are both useful. (Also: watch that Wayne, He's scary!) P.s; Costra Rica sounds wonderful. The fact they've taken steps to keep it worth living on sounds encouraging. |

Nice. Rich I've heard the same things out of a couple I know living in Costa Rica. First thing I thought of when I saw your post was the Costa Rican coffee I got for Christmas. Really, really good stuff! |

You're right Fosgate. You know when coffee is really good, when you can drink it black. Milk and sugar kills the rich natural flavor. The fruit down here is good as well. Richard |

Welcome, it seems there are more than a few of the Americans looking your way for retirement homes ... I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. |

That reminds me of college the night before a major exam. Besides the coffee, I have taken a strong interest in birds and have several African love birds at home. In addition, a beautiful tropical garden that looks great all year. Those are two of my pleasures during my down time. Richard . |
