Fortunately, I live in paradise. I have never been anywhere where the air smelled so fresh. Costa Rica has a beautiful rain forest and the country is doing what it can to preserve it. Logging is strictly overseen and pollution to the rivers is controlled. Even the water is safe to drink.

After reading a few threads, I wanted to introduce myself to this community. I look forward to sharing ideas with other forum members to make this world a better place.

Howdy-do, Rich!

It's fun to have new members and the more viewpoints the better methinx.

We do get a touch rugged at times. A sense of humor and body-armour are both useful.

P.s; Costra Rica sounds wonderful. The fact they've taken steps to keep it worth living on sounds encouraging.

Nice. Rich I've heard the same things out of a couple I know living in Costa Rica. First thing I thought of when I saw your post was the Costa Rican coffee I got for Christmas. Really, really good stuff!

You know when coffee is really good, when you can drink it black. Milk and sugar kills the rich natural flavor.

The fruit down here is good as well.

Well, the cost of living is 1/3 of the states. Imagine $5 a pound lobsters and 50 cent beer.

That reminds me of college the night before a major exam.

Besides the coffee, I have taken a strong interest in birds and have several African love birds at home. In addition, a beautiful tropical garden that looks great all year.

Those are two of my pleasures during my down time.
