Hi everyone,

Yes it's me, the original lexie from way back. I haven't been to envirolink in ages but it is summer and find myself bored in front of the computer at work and wondered if envirolink and envirochat were still around. Funny that it just got started back up again last week.

Hope everyone is well and we will chat soon!

Lex

Hi kids!

Had a few problems logging on, but am here again... Though logging on as "Donald2" I was in that previous life known as "Donald", and if I figure out how to handle "profiles" here will probably try to change back to that....

Many happy memories of discussions and arguments with the "net-Texans" and others on the old Envirochat (have sitting on my monitor a carved whale toy from "Flighty"). Though data on issues is available in the ocean of information that is the web, interacting with others having similar world-views or different views on issues of interest to me helps direct the flow of that information, and gives context to it.

I don't have as much time available online as I did in the old days, but look forward to dipping my oar in here!

All the best from the icy brink of Niagara,

Donald.

Old... days...?

Was it really over 10 years ago when I first found this place? And I still recognize people's names? That's almost scary to me.

I'm Obiwan, the last wiz of the old echat. After finally being promoted, the place went down for good. Coincidence? Punishment? The world may never know...
