In 2014, a Judicial Watch lawsuit forced the release of 76 pages of DHS documents revealing that, as of April 26, 2014, the Obama administration had released 165,900 convicted criminal aliens throughout the United States, including many convicted of such violent crimes as homicide, sexual assault, kidnapping, and aggravated assault. "The hearing focused on the dangers posed to American citizens by state and local anti-detainer policies, as well as by ICE’s release of criminal aliens back onto the streets. Sheriff Jones criticized the Administration for ending Secure Communities, and also criticized the Administration for refusing to challenge states and district court rulings that undermine immigration enforcement. He explained how the ACLU has undermined immigration enforcement all over the country with their victory in one district court in Oregon. He said that because the government did not challenge the court ruling against detainers in Clackamas County, sheriffs all over the country are afraid to cooperate with ICE because they are afraid they also will be sued by the ACLU.

Jamiel Shaw and Michael Ronneback put a personal face on the dangers to American citizens caused by lack of enforcement. Jamiel Shaw pointed out several times that the illegal alien who murdered his son was what amnesty advocates call a “Dreamer,” having been brought to the United States as a child by his parents. He said: “Some people believe that if you are brought over by no fault of your own that it makes you a good person. They want you to believe that DREAM Act kids don’t murder. I am here to debunk that myth.” Jessica Vaughn also pointed out that the illegal alien who killed Grant Ronneback was released by Immigration and Customs Enforcement as a matter of discretion, despite his criminal record. Both family members blamed the federal government for failing to protect Americans."

"An Open Letter to Attorney General Cynthia Coffman

Twenty-six states including 22 state Attorneys General and three governors have joined the Governor of Texas – that’s 26 states in total — in suing the United States government to halt the Obama administration’s 2014 “DAPA” amnesty program, which aims to award legal status and work permits to an estimated 4.4 million illegal immigrants.

Colorado should become the 27th state in that lawsuit, and you, the Attorney General, can do so at the stroke of a pen.

The lawsuit is now even more critical than it was when it was first filed in December. That is because Republicans in Congress failed to halt funding for the implementation of the amnesty program in the Department of Homeland Security. Speaker Boehner on March 3 cited the litigation against the amnesty edicts and said, “The good news is that the president’s executive action has been stopped, for now. This matter will continue to be litigated in the courts, where we have our best chance of winning this fight.”

That is an understatement: given the congressional surrender on DHS funding, it is not only the best way, the lawsuit is now the ONLY way to stop Obama’s unconstitutional usurpation of power.

As Colorado’s Attorney General, you are one of 24 members of the Republican Attorney Generals Association. Twenty-three of those 24 state officials have joined the lawsuit against the Obama amnesty program. You are the only RAGA member who is not participating in that legal challenge.

Twelve state Attorneys General have filed an amicus brief supporting the Obama administration’s unconstitutional edicts. All 12 of those AG’s signing that brief are Democrats.

As you know, in early February, federal district court judge Andrew Hanen agreed with the plaintiffs and granted an injunction blocking the implementation of the Obama amnesty. The US Department of Justice has appealed that decision, but many scholars and legal analysts believe the plaintiffs have a fair chance of winning their case if it goes to the US Supreme Court– which is likely because it raises very fundamental constitutional issues.

Judge Hanen’s opinion in the case affirmed that Texas has standing to sue, that it has shown material harm to its taxpayers and citizens by the Obama amnesty, and that an injunction is justified to block the amnesty program until it can be fully litigated on appeal. However, that district court ruling will be appealed to the Fifth Circuit Court and there is still time for Colorado and other states which have not yet taken sides to do so.

A few days ago, Obama told a group meeting in the White House that he has asked the Justice Department to consider ignoring Judge Hanen’s ruling and the injunction in those 24 states that are not part of the lawsuit. That would be yet another attempted circumvention of the rule of law. If that happens and Colorado has not joined those 26 other states, the state will be vulnerable to the full effects of Obama’s amnesty decrees even while the courts are still considering the legality of Obama’s edicts.

Only a few weeks ago you took an Oath of Office to defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of Colorado. That oath can best be honored by joining the legal challenge to the Obama administration’s unprecedented usurpation of power.

The state of Texas knows full well the immense cost of illegal immigration—in K-12 education, in law enforcement, in health care, and in other public services and benefits. Colorado ranks eighth nationally in the number of illegal aliens in the state. Under the US Constitution, granting legal residency and work permits to any substantial part of that “undocumented” population is a matter to be decided by Congress. It cannot legally be decided by a unilateral move by an out-of-control President. If Obama is allowed to get away with making new law by edict and ignoring existing laws enacted by Congress, there is no limit to the mischief and harm that can be done to our constitutional liberties and the rule of law. If immigration law can be rewritten by executive edict without congressional approval, why not tax law or any other law the president dislikes?

A large majority of the public understands that illegal immigration already imposes substantial burdens on American taxpayers and American workers. If Obama’s administrative amnesty goes unchecked, particularly in view of the disgraceful lack of border security, illegal immigration will mushroom and those burdens will only increase. Anyone who believes that rewarding illegal behavior does not invite more illegal behavior is delusional.

A 2013 report by The Heritage Foundation revealed that the typical illegal immigrant household in the U.S. pays $10,334 in taxes but consumes $24,721 in benefits. By contrast, those numbers for lawful households are $54,089 in taxes paid compared to $24,839 in benefits. Also, it is not widely understood that Obama’ DAPA amnesty program does not require illegal aliens to pay back taxes in order to qualify for legal status and work permits.

Coloradans should be part of the TEXAS, et al, lawsuit, which unfortunately, in the wake of the March 3 Congressional capitulation, now offers the only hope of preserving liberty within a framework of constitutional government — a government of the people, by the people and for the people.

For many reasons, it does not make sense for Colorado to remain on the sidelines. I hope your strong conservative values and enviable record of principled leadership will lead you to that same conclusion.

"Ten Percent of Births in U.S. to Illegal Aliens

Last Wednesday, for the first time in ten years, the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security examined the issue of granting automatic citizenship to those born in the U.S. in a hearing called "Birthright Citizenship: Is it the Right Policy for America?" (Hearing, Apr. 29, 2015) During the hearing, Jon Feere of the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) demonstrated just how consequential the U.S.'s current policy of birthright citizenship was by highlighting that approximately one in ten births in the U.S. today are to illegal aliens. (Id.)

Every year, Mr. Feere testified, 350,000 to 400,000 children are born to illegal aliens in the United States who automatically become U.S. citizens. (Feere Testimony) He put this number in context by explaining that this number represents approximately 10% of all U.S. births today. Feere also warned that "birth tourism," where a foreign citizen travels to the U.S. solely with the intention of giving birth on U.S. soil so that the child will obtain U.S. citizenship, is becoming increasingly common. (Id.) Though the numbers are difficult to calculate, he stated, based on the limited government data available, CIS estimates 35,000 to 36,000 expectant mothers come to the U.S. as birth tourists. (Id.)

But the other question that loomed over the hearing was whether Congress is really powerless to reform this crucial aspect of our current immigration law because of language in the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. (Id.) The other three witnesses, Professors Lino Graglia, law professor at the University of Texas at Austin; Dr. John Eastman, Director of the Claremont Institute's Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence; and Richard Cohen, President of the Southern Poverty Law Center, spent most of their time on this question. (Id.) Professors Eastman and Graglia forcefully argued that, contrary to the frequent assertions by supporters of the policy, Congress' hands are not tied. (Id.)

Chairman of the full Judiciary Committee, Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), began the hearing by stating that it is "far from settled" whether the Constitution mandates "automatic" citizenship. He noted that while the 14th Amendment provides that "all persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States," Congress and the courts have never clarified what "subject to the jurisdiction thereof" means. (Id.) Goodlatte also said he believes birthright citizenship is the wrong policy for the U.S., and that members of Congress, have the duty to "have an open and honest discussion about the consequences" of it."

The Obama Administration has been taking applications for an amnesty program since December 1, 2014 that will fly illegal immigrants from Central American Countries to the U.S. for the purposes of providing an “orderly alternative to the dangerous journey that some... are currently taking to the United States.”

The Central American Minors (CAM) Refugee/Parole Program requires parolees to pay for their flights and medical care but will provide cash, loans, as well as help with travel and medical assistance to refugees participating in the program at taxpayer expense. Media reports further indicate that parolees participating in the program could include felons and immigrants that were previously deported.

Shockingly, DHS’ website states, "There is no fee to participate in this refugee/parole program and it is prohibited for anyone to charge a fee for completion of the form." Worse yet, an agency official indicated in a hearing last week that some CAM program participants are eligible because they have a family member living in the U.S. who was one of the beneficiaries of President Obama’s previous deferred action amnesty executive orders."
It is obvious that Obama is guilty of felony encouragement, aiding and abetting illegals, which with Mexico's Abrogation of Treaty 80s 0n helping the invasion, makes the charge high treason in a time of war (also the war on terror). "Mexican Government Helicopter Crosses Into U.S. and Attacks Border Agents



When one country crosses over the border into another and launches an assault, it usually grabs headlines because that is typically viewed as an act of war. But apparently this is not the case when the Mexican government moves aggressively against its U.S. counterparts along the southwestern border. The fact that this is probably the first time you're hearing about this report drives this point home.

After obtaining documents from the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP), we have uncovered the details of an incident on June 26, 2014, when a Mexican government helicopter crossed into U.S. airspace and opened fire on U.S. Border Patrol personnel. The attack occurred near Arizona's San Miguel gate. The CBP documents were released in response to a July 9, 2014, Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request that asked for:

Any and all records regarding, concerning or related to the June 26, 2014 incident near Sells, AZ on the Tohono O'Odham Indian Reservation during which one or more Mexican military helicopters reportedly entered U.S. airspace and fired shots in the vicinity of U.S. Border Patrol personnel.

There's history here. Going back a decade, your JW has forced both the Bush and Obama administrations to release documents detailing intentional border incursions by Mexican military and other government personnel. DHS records show that Mexican military incursions occur quite often and go unpunished by the U.S. For instance, the DHS documents reveal 226 incursions by Mexican government personnel into the U.S. between 1996 and 2005. In 2007 alone, 25 such incursions occurred along the U.S.-Mexico border. Earlier this year a serious incursion occurred in Arizona. Two heavily armed and camouflaged soldiers from Mexico crossed 50 yards over the border into Arizona and held American Border Patrol agents at gunpoint in a tense confrontation.

These new CBP records provide detail on the 2014 incident:

[US Border Patrol] Agents from the Tucson Sector Foreign Operations Branch were parked approximately 100 yards north of the Border on the U.S. Side when they observed a Mexican LEA helicopter cross north into the U.S. for approximately 100 yards. The agents then heard and observed two rounds being shot from the helicopter which landed approximately 15 yards to the side of one of the unmarked Border Patrol Vehicles (FOB) they were driving. Also, there were two marked vehicles at the scene next to the unmarked as well.

A total of six Mexican law enforcement helicopters flying near the Represito Ranch were observed by the four agents. Two agents were driving two marked Border Patrol vehicles and two additional agents were in a third, unmarked vehicle when one of the helicopters flew directly north and crossed into the US approximately 100 yards. The helicopter immediately turned back south into Mexico and landed at the Represito Ranch where Government of Mexico (GOM) officers exited the aircraft. Five GOM officers walked north and approached the International Border Fence where the incident had occurred, and subsequently made contact with the agents. The GOM officers apologized for the incident and stated that the incident had been reported to their main office in Mexico City, D.F.

Here we should also credit the heavy lifting of California Congressman Duncan Hunter, who has obtained information from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that provides some disturbing details. On June 17, 2014, he reported that according to DHS:

• There have been a total of 300 documented incursions since January 1, 2004;

• Of the 300 documented incidents, there were 152 incidents involving armed subjects (totaling approximately 525 subjects);

• Of the 152 incidents involving armed subjects, verbal or physical contact was made with the armed subjects in 81 incidents (approximately 322 armed subjects in total). An encounter with one of these Mexican Government Law Enforcement or Military entities does not always equal a standoff or confrontation. It depends on a case-by-case basis where one would have to read the narrative completed on the Significant Incident Report for the specific incursion;

• Of the 81 armed encounters, a total of 131 subjects were detained. While the number of unauthorized incursions by Mexican authorities is relatively few, it is imperative for our officer safety to handle each situation assertively but with sensitivity and professionalism.

It's not just the Mexican government we need to be concerned about, but also foreign powers that could be out to exploit the many points of vulnerabilities along our southwestern border. Tens of thousands of "Other than Mexican" illegal aliens (OTMs) have been apprehended by our U.S. Border Patrol agents. There are also illegal aliens from Special Interest Countries (SIC) with ties to terrorism that have been caught crossing the border. It's time to worry.

The Mexican government initially denied, but later admitted to, the armed incursion. The Mexican government has little regard for the sovereignty of the United States. Mexican military and law enforcement personnel intentionally and without consequence cross our border and place U.S. law enforcement and other innocent Americans at risk. These new documents show how our Border Patrol agents were almost killed by a Mexican 'law enforcement' helicopter that crossed our border and fired on the Border Patrol's clearly marked position. America is placed at risk by the Obama administration's lawless open-borders policy that purposefully fails to protect American citizens and front-line law enforcement from a corrupt Mexican government, the drug cartels, the illegal alien crisis, ISIS and the Islamic terrorist threat."

AF, as a veteran who took the Oath, Mexico is an enemy state and Reconquistas over-breeding the USA ar4e domestic enemies. So are the moslems who have been at war with the US since 1805, but con people into thinking they are a 'religion of peace' with their art of Taqiyya deception, like actors.

Unfortunately he denies CAGW. The only way for the US to reduce emissions enough in time is to boot out 30million illegals and fines collected also from felony encouragers/employers. It is going to take rapid decarbonization world wide, and that means also rapid population decline. You can not have one without the other. I think nuking Mexico and the ME (moslem portion) to cut population in half and send up cooling aerosols, if enough, could stop the overpopulation before tundra methane does it for us. It would have been nice if everyone were more intelligent and homogenous. More American pollution by more people here is against rapid decarbonization. America goes down with the rest of the world when we should have lead the way with population reduction and decarbonization.
It is far too late for an easy way to save the biosphere. How can everyone go emission free within 8 years? No super volcano, but maybe a major disaster that crashes the unstable overpopulation? Or a good nuclear war that kills 95% of the people to make the necessary emissions reduction plus give a several year aerosol winter to cool temporarily.
Too little, too late will not save the biosphere. Solar radiation control 'geo-engineering' has not stopped the relentless loss of polar ice, and last year's methane blowholes were the start of waking up the Arctic Methane Monster. If you make it fifteen more years, it will be hell on Earth with 8.5 billion and heat going up exponentially to extinction of all surface life.
The dumbing down of the US caused us not to lead the way for going emission free or lowered 95%. Except for gross immigration, we were on the way to sustainability in the 1970s. Now, thanks to a bunch of traitors from LBJ to Carter, Reagan, Bushes, Clintoon, and obummer, we are now a 2nd world nation who couldn't lead the way anymore. It has been sad to witness this deterioration induced on my country. No fear, I probably don't have that much time left, and my 48 years of environmental activism and study have been useless along with leading by example. 10 years here and there has been no progress, really. I pray for a miracle to save all the species left.

Extreme water shortages! Massive traffic gridlock from San Francisco to San Diego! Horrific air pollution! Incredible crowding! Thousands of acres of plastic covering croplands. Worst of all, I watched endless earthmovers and cranes building thousands of apartment buildings and laying pavement for as far as the eye could see.

I witnessed wildfires burning out of control from their “exceptional drought.” Even more sobering, state parks placed Porta-Potties in front of the bathrooms because of acute water shortages. Showers cost $1.75 for two minutes.
Yet, California adds 1,655 people via legal and illegal immigration every single day of the year. When you work the math, plus birth rates, you see where that state faces an added 20 million people. A full 98 percent of California’s growth stems from immigration. (Source: www.CapsWeb.org)

I think the 276 sanctuary cities are overpopulation hell holes and should be nuked to lower US emissions and put up a temporary solar shield of aerosols. Similar to other hell holes called megacities all over Earth. Lower emissions and population 95% within 8 years. Then we'll have a 50% chance of not going extinct! :mrgreen:
