Sorry Iowanic my mind is that of a goldfish. Anything more than two lines I get lost. I'm sure they are good though.

I humbly submit a title change to the story:

THE WILDS OF ZETA.

Is anyone having problems with any terms or expressions used in the story? I've tried to explain as the story goes, but if anyone desires explainations therein, I shall provide the facts and figures.

For those wondering on the long delay before the next part, I am getting to it. I got a bit behind on a few things and have to catch up.

Very valid points, XX. I can use this; thank you.

One draw back to really spending time on background to a story: some of us want to include as much of that background as we can stuff in,,,,whether it matters in the story or not.

Thank you, again.

based on the above two posts in this thread, I thought I should mention (in spite of not reading the story in question yet) that I find a lot of my best story ideas forming as a result of trying to figure out a sneaky way of having the characters themselves reveal the science or biology or history of their world. Think up all these fun facts, sure, but don't tell them to the readers but let them discover those factoids by what the characters say or do or even how a narrative-style voice can speak to the audience in a way that assumes the audience knows the factoid (which it does not know yet) but done in such a way that the audience can figure it out on their own.

Is anyone interested in a 'critter-dex' or for a few stats regarding the planet of Zeta?

I beg your pardon.

I figured it'd be better to put such tidbits in this section, rather then the story itself.
