Has anyone else kept up with that event?

I may not agree with a lot the Prez does....

But I had to admire him agreeing to 'face the fire'; on a hot subject. He could have easily called the whole thing off or insisted on a 'members only' meeting; I seem to recall Bush did that so often, it got to be a joke. Obama didn't and that says something about him as a person.

I don't much like him as a president, right now.
But I'm getting the impression; as a person; he's someone who grows on you when you give him the chance.

I can agree change hasn't been exactly dropping like apples from a tree in a wind storm.

With all the trillions being printed there will be available change for them. Won't buy squat though.

I dunno, Siber. We're having a tuesday-only squat sale at the store today. Hard to beat the price.

Is your need for attention so great that you have to try saying increasingly absurd comments? I know you probably think you're being funny, but you don't really come off looking very good as a result.

By prefacing the remark with the title to Jonathan Swift’s satire, I thought the remark’s intentional absurdity as a device to highlight a previous absurdity by magnifying it was self-evident. I see that subtlety and historical allusion are a waste of time here.
