From what I can gather time cannot exist without the sequence of events. Therefore without a happening time cannot be. Empty space is therefore devoid of time.

Define 'event".

My point....even nothing happening can be described as something(Nothing) happening.

Good point.

Events as in happenings, a physical or mental occurrence. If time is objective is it constant as on a subjectve level it is very relative. Time is generous to the bored but mean to the rushed.
Loosely based on what you say not only as far as time is concerned but can space exist without something? Since this requires a thought process I guess it is impossible to prove.

I should really re-read a brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking and an even more intricate book by Clifford A. Pickering Time A Travellers Guide, heavy going in parts.

How can the past and future be when the past no longer is and the future is not yet? As for the present, if it were always present and never moved on to become the past, it would not be time but eternity

Augustine

Perhaps we live in a continuous now?

And if the past present and future are individual entities can the present be measured? And is the past from singularity to now and the future from now till singularity but if singularity existed or will exist again surely tiime was ever present?
