I have a friend who is an environmentalist and considering to have a wedding that is very environment friendly and can saves a lot of money. We research online and found few sites where we can get tips on how to have an eco wedding. You might as well be interested to see this but our concern is "can we really save money for it?" others would tell us we an adjust all the time but some of our friends also point out that having an eco-wedding is expensive if we want it to be look like that. If I weren't married already, I probably wouldn't plan on a wedding at all, period. I don't have to go before a minister or public official to express my feelings for another. If I'm committed, I'll stay with them married or not. Looking back, I see my wedding as a tremendous waste of money. Yeah it was nice but we could have used the money for a nice vacation and called it a "honeymoon".

Why do you say that your wedding is a tremendous waste? yeah it's a nice idea to have an eco wedding but I think it's expensive still or might be more expensive I guess.

I say it's a waste because all the time, money, and resources that went into it could have been better spent on something else, namely some sort of investment. If you honestly think vows expressed 20 years ago and all the pomp and circumstance that came with it is what keeps us together today, you're sadly mistaken. We could have simply moved in together and the only difference would be some missing footage and pictures. I really felt the same way then, but it wasn't my money being spent.

Oh well, I think you have a point there. But since people spend money in order to have a beautiful and memorable wedding it is something that we should not consider a waste of everything. On my part memories are valuable more than anything else.

I suppose any kind of party can be a "green" party. What do you think of this GC? A "green" burial?

Hi animal-friendly, I visited the site that you've provided. The green burial might sound that economical for some people but it is something that must be done. Although nowadays cremation is preferred by a large no. of people still the traditional burial will be the best option. I don't think cremation does good and for me it's sound quite unfair but that's my own opinion alone.
