Mine is my totally off grid self-built solar house and Earthship!!! Next or first, would be my only child--the biggest environmental thing I did was have only one child. Then after them the LCD TV, LCD Energy Star computer, and composters (with composters being the real greenest by replenishing the soil). Of course all our lights are CFs and flashlights LED. Our low water and power use Staber washing machine is very green and runs on the modified square wave inverter power (15 gal. and 135 watt/hours). Then would be our hybrid vehicle, that we drive an average of 10 miles per day.
Of course, there are some "eco-friendly" trinket devices and products that don't amount to a hill of beans against the eco-problems of now and the future. I hope you don't mean garbage like that! :roll: 8) :-$ =;

I don't think anyone is going to disagree with solar. We run the pool in our backyard off of it

I love my solar-charger because it is indeed environment friendly. I bought it last 2 months and so far it is so good for charging small gadgets in our house. Also, we already changed our lights and now we are using Compact Fluorescent - Dimmable Bulbs and Compact Fluorescent Lightbulbs in our house.

I guess mine would have to be the ActiveIon cleaning bottle. I was a little skeptical that water alone could do the job, but this little gadget does a good job of cleaning really tough dirt on surfaces and I don't have to subject the family to chemicals or residue, or worry about any runoff into the soil or ground water.

Actually my fav eco product is the birth control pill, for all women at reproductive age. Reducing births to 3% of the present rate would prevent the population crash and resultant pollution and depletion effects of gross overshot population.

Birth control pills have some nasty side effects while the side effects of a wee clipping to the vas deferens has only good results. It is efficient and leaves no room for human error. Also, once done, you never need to think about it again.
