Conservation Montgomery is a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit coalition in Montgomery County, MD, just outside of D.C. Our website is www.ConservationMontgomery.org. We have a series of events called Community Strolls. The first of our 2011 series of Strolls is this coming Saturday in Takoma Park,MD. We'll learn about Takoma Park's tree ordinance and we'll see results of the city's tree protection law firsthand.
