I need some help..... In my story of Zeke Myth's up-coming baseball season, I have him getting married and his teammates buy him a motorcycle as a wedding present, which he and his bride take off on for their honeymoon. The prob is I know basically nothing about motorcycles except that they have two wheels instead of four. So: anyone know a good motorcycle- make for cruising? |

Harley Davidson would be the simple starting point for most authors, but there are other manufacturers if you want to be a little different. Here is a list by year that might help you out. There may be a name that rings with the character too, like one of the Victory models. http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/ ... views.html |

Thanx for the info, Wayne. The victory looks 'tuff' but I'm thinking a wife wouldn't be real crazy about riding hundreds of miles on the back of such. So far: my limited search has come up with a front-runner of the Harley-Davidson Road Glide Ultra. It's a monster but it has a full set of do-dads and enough storage space to keep Zeke's new missus happy. |

Actually; I can see a prank his teammates could pull on Zeke: a pink trailer alongside this macho bike would be sorta funny. |

I'm not familiar with your character, but if we're talking the married type that needs a bit of storage space (and more than a touch of class), try BMW. http://www.bmwmotorcycles.com/us/en/index.html There's also the Can-Am Spyder Roadster. http://en-us.spyder.brp.com/home.aspx?_ ... n=(organic)|utmcmd=organic|utmctr=(not%20provided)&__utmv=-&__utmk=88434459 |

http://en-us.spyder.brp.com/discover/di ... dster.aspx Now I'm thinking this would be a better choice; for someone without much cycle experience... |
