I swa this on the local news a couple of times, but they never indicated the sandwich was returned home. I had been wondering if the child had traded lunches with another child and that change had been the reason for the problem. According to the Carolina Journal,which your link referenced, there was no problem with the lunch, nor should there have been a charge if there had been a problem. It seems there was a big confusion somewhere in that system.
