Hello!

I'm Gary from the US and I'm in a pickle here.

I've started my zero waste living since 2020 because I really care about what's happening in our environment. The thing is I had a severe case of ear infection last September 2021 and when it healed after 2 months of medication, my hearing started to become sensitive to sounds. I have been suffering from sound sensitivity for about 2 months now and my audiologist told me that I should just wear foam earplugs since they are the cheapest. The dilemma is that wearing this type of earplugs somehow contradicts with my zero waste way of living. Should I just get custom earplugs that I can just rinse daily? Are they any good?

Any suggestion or recommendation is welcome.

Thank you in advance!
