| Post subject: | Beer Bottle Temple |
Hey, has anyone heard of this before? Check out this blog post: It's about a temple in Thailand built entirely from beer bottles, it's incredible! And I love that it's kind of somewhere between art and recycling. Maybe we should all build beer-bottle houses instead of recycling them to become yet more beer bottles that eventually end up in landfill... :) |

They should use that concept to expand colleges and universities. The building materials are readily available there, or were when I went. |

This page has a picture of bottle/mortar use; http://earthship.com/ They also use pinched beer and soda cans, rammed earth/re-used old tires, and indigenous soil for either adobe or soil-cement and stucco/plaster. |
