Uh.. aren't fish considered animals? It always confuses me cause I'm never sure if they are vegetables or animals since a lot of "vegetarians" consume them.. and you just said "animals and fishes".

If the goal is to reduce as much suffering as possible wouldn't it make sense that hunters are doing that already since they try to kill the animal as quickly and painlessly (I'm sure I'll get corrected if I am wrong here) as they can? The animal would die anyway, either by natural causes (which can be pretty ugly) or a predator right?

I used to hunt deer but gave it up as a waste of time for the little meat from the deal. Although nowadays with all the extra tags available it may be something to look into.
I will pop the occasional rabbit or big black bird that wants to mess with my garden but not sure if that's hunting or pest control.
