The Constitution is bad news for the anti-equal rights people too.

It has been 150 years since the end of slavery and there is still a disproportionate number of African Americans trapped in the cycle of poverty slavery.

It has been 100 years since women were granted legal equality and they are not equal in pay or treatment.

It has been 50 years since African Americans were granted legal equality and they are not equal especially in the legal system.

LGBT people are still trying to be granted legal equality so their long road to true equality may begin.
