Story is beautiful SD!

RF, Sammie is adorable. If I didn't know better I'd think you spoiled that dog rotten.

ST, Blackberry and The Dawg are so cute.. but I think I've fallen for Polka Dot. :D

Elmo, why are you afraid of dogs? What kind of bird do you have? You're not allowed anymore pets because you cry when they die? Poor thing.. every kid should have pets. Heck, I'm an ancient old geezer and I still get teary when I think about my little bird, Puffy Dog, and she's been gone 9 months and 5 days. She's buried in my Nana's backyard, I even put a special rose stone on her grave. All of my critters have been buried.. and they all get cried over and make me misty eyed.. and I always swear I'll never get another critter again. If it were up to me I'd have a zoo again.. had 9 ferrets, 6 cats, 2 dogs, 2 parrots, and tortoise. :D

We lost our best horse recently. When I heard the news, it hit me pretty hard. I tried to hold them back, but a few tears fell anyway. You just don't come accross horses like that one every day.

Here's my two labs. Unfortunately, the yellow one is going to the vet this weekend, her arthritis has gotten so bad, she can hardly get around.
:(

Sorry, to hear that. We lost a lab in a similar situation to kidney failure and a border collie to ocular degeneration complications.
