a simple rule will fix this: force companies to have a maximum spread proportion of income. What this causes is for the top wealthy CEOs to only be in charge of an umbrella company. The people cleaning the floors in his office will be working for a janitorial company. This will cause competition in the middlemen and in the CEOs... who wants to make a deal with an umbrella company who is stingy? Let the markets sort out how the money is distributed but that gives smaller local businesses a big advantage over large mega-corporations.

Great video! It shows the shift away from a more geometric tax rise for the rich so they could pay big money for corrupt campaigns.
It also shows the effect of over and illegal immigration of the lower and middle class, too.
Elected government officials have voted themselves into golden parachute wages, benefits and retirement while increasing debt and middle class burdens, and robbing SS.
It started out as individual interest bearing accounts, but LBJ turned it into the Ponzi scheme of unsustainable growth only economy with his wanting the "Great Society" and to pay for his war. We are still led to believe that we get out what we paid in. Gov't pay has gone up to 37 to 100% greater than civilian, a mercenary government so corrupt it stinks. Greed has not been addressed by churches any more or with enough of a geometric taxation. Too many that paid nothing or very little into SS get unearned benefits.

What does it say about our economy that at the same time the Dow Jones hits a peak, we have the highest percentage of Americans on food stamps?

That "trickle down economics" plans do not work?

basically it might work in theory but it is always "too little, too late". My idea is basically using the trickle down effect with prevention of damn dams to hold back the flow.

Neither does a representative republic when enough folks voting aren't worth a pile of dog crap and/or don't vote. :lol:

This is true because the representatives do not do the job of representing the people but of the groups that pay into their election campaign that allows them to becoem elected.

Exactly the type representatives I'd expect a pile of crap to elect.

From above;
This is true because the representatives do not do the job of representing the people but of the groups that pay into their election campaign that allows them to become elected. (Wayne)

I agree with both, and add in the dumbing down of America for the past 40 years or more, the amount of people depending on government including the higher than civilian pay, and the money big enough to influence media and manipulate voting machines to their anointed one. :twisted:
