Last was 7% unemployment, but that is people "ON" unemployment. The real number of unemployed in the USA, according to NumbersUSA, is 57.5 million, or more than double the "official" reports that the "media" carry. People have gotten extensions and then used them, too. There are 15 million on food stamps, and millions of others just eking by......young people of working age living at home by the millions, and some of those parents are retired on Social Security at a lousy $1,200/month trying to support 3 people. Stopping immigration, collecting fines owed* and booting out the over 30 million illegals would help the USA as a nation, ecologically and economically. * Mathematically Literate World figure is $150,000,230,000,000,000 or 150 Quintillion 230 Billion dollars owed by violators of US and state laws. |
