I'm happy that I figured out how to open the hood of my car myself. *bows* I'm also happy that the new neighbors up the street have a nice looking son who happens to be my age.

I am happy that I have finished one major landscaping job for my wife and I have only a week to go before we can go to our place in the mountains. I am less than happy I still have one more major landscaping job left open if the Home Owners Board accepts the plan (they have in the past) and that I will probably not be able to spend the whole week in the mountains as I hoped due to work issues. I am more happy the last project only involves a couple of ton of stone as opposed to the last projects though. I am less happy that I forgot I had another bedroom to paint and took my wife to the mall this weekend since it rained. I am more happy there is only one more bedroom to paint after than one though.

This message has been brought to you by the Yin of life and the Yang of life ... don't leave home without them.

I am happy this morning looking out the window at my new car, not even 24 hours since she was "born" to me. I love her and can't wait to take her out this morning for some exercise.

Now I'll go back to the what am I mad about thread and rant about car payments for the next 42 mos.

"Sun come shine over the mountain", hit my 1024 watts of solar panels, and give me the extra power I need for my Electric Church Music, through my windows for warmth and growth to the plants that help feed me. The little green is coming up in Pike's Peak Backcountry, a prelude to flowers and Aspen leaves, especially after the rain due tomorrow. :D

You would need a girlfriend tho for that to happen first, no?

Reminds me of a toast my hero, Sir Ernest Shackelton, made with his shipmates

As they raised their mugs:

To our wives and sweethearts..... may they never meet.

It may be because typing 'redfurrymonster' is so much more effort than 'Elmo' ...

Yeah.
Course the Elmo picture doesn't help deter people from Elmo.

I was referred to as a "young lady" today. :D No makeup, hadn't had time to do my hair, wearing jeans & sweatshirt, and some guy who was mostly likely only a few years older than me called me a "young lady". Yes, it's vain of me, but I've been a bit depressed about my age ever since my youngest turned 8. \:D/

It's a little early for that guy to be drinking, isn't it?

Depressed about your age? I took my youngest, his older brother, their girlfriends, and my wife (soon to be married 30 years) to Outback for his 22nd birthday dinner last night .... and none of them even got carded!!!!
