Well my Queen for the Day is coming to a close. All my subjects have been really nice, except one. And I won't forget it.

Well I don't do it all in one sitting! But hey, sometimes it works. I'll keep coming back (throughout the day, mind you) to see if anything new has showed up, and sometimes I'll find something that wasn't there before.

That's scary.

Maybe your fridge is the one that steals stuff from my fridge.. like the expensive cheese and good beer.

Kind of like the "magic fridge" commercial that played during the Superbowl?

I do that when I open the door to the fridge 15 times in a day.

Yes, imagine Archer opening the fridge hitting himself in the head, with the door, shouting OHHHH!!!, and closing the door .... repeated 15 times over the day ...

(I usually stop after a dozen times myself ... )

In honor of "Be Nice To Grace Day", Gracie got extra grapes (AND a cookie, she loves cookies) today.
She really likes BNTG Day, and was wondering when the next one was coming around.

I'm tired of arguing with you all. In all the active threads it's me against many. Cree, Bean, RF, Vulpes, hunter88, fisherman, Donnie, Fosgate [when they're here], and I'm sure I left a few off. Anyone notice that? No one is debating with anyone but me. It sucks, it's tiresome, I'm bored and disgusted with being one against all. And for all you AR weenies who fled this board, you suck more than the anti's. I know you're here. Cowards.

Good bye for a while. Could be a week, a month, a year, or a few minutes...

Question for you.

Why do you do it?

I haven't seen any real debating going on. Just squabbling that would put my kids to shame.

I learned how this board works in the first few days I was here. It looks like a lot of other people learned the same lesson and don't bother any more.

If you really hate it, why do you keep coming back for more?

That is probably why us women folk tend to ban men from the kitchen.. it's hazzardous to the fridge's health!

Sianblooze....now Grace has battled her corner admirably and needed a rest.

Wheter you like it or not everybody is here because they care about environmental issues and it may therefore be a surprise to you (not to any of us...its our life not toytown politics) that there are hunters, farmers, vets, bioloigists, environmental workers, conservationists etc all attacking ARA positions which we see as unhelpful at best and downright dangerous at worst. It snot squabbling to us. Its a fight to protect the wilderness in meaningful ways.

I think our positions are clear. That we believe the best way to do this is by recognising the importance of animal dependant economies , hunting etc and their crucial role in preserving things.

Grace likes animals. So do we. She is nervous that there is cruelty out there. We are trying to show her that most people try to minimize suffering as the reason we are in these jobs is because we love animals too. CERTAINLY not for money or exploitation.

It is significant that all the people you are against have real animals as avatars. You have a disneyesque cute shark. (I dont have one cos I cant work out how to do it!) Grace has her eye, and it is that which lies at the root of her angst.

NOW.....I propose you have a be nice to Sianblooze day on a day of your choice, and realise that while we squabble as you put it, habitats are dissappearing for plam oil etc  I dont see any ARA groups saying anything about this.

May I also thank Grace for being nice to us on her day :D
