That was really surprising to read, granola! I've never met anyone that's heard of those 2 movies. I bought them years ago on video. Now we have DVD and I think my husband sold them in our last garage sale  . I really should check amazon to see if they're for sale. I'd love to watch them again.

Yeah we have them on video as well... that is the only reason we still have a video machine. My dad introduced me to those movies YEARS ago! Manon of the Spring is my favorite. She so gets her revenge! Humm I should look and see if they are out in DVD, an all region version.

Ok, far too funny... I was actually going to list those two, but then I thought I'd be too much of a sissy city boy. I think I came to grips with that fact a long time ago, though. ;-)

Here's a list of my other favorites (in no particular order):

- The Shawshank Redemption
- Raising Arizona
- Goodfellas
- The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
- Blazing Saddles
- Fargo
- Godfather I & II
- Doctor Zhivago
- North by Northwest
- The Silence of the Lambs ("thbt thbt... FAVA BEANS!")
- Milagro Beanfield War (this might be my all-time favorite)

Whats your favorite color? Blue
Whats your favorite food? Lobster (sorry, but true)
Whats your favorite movie? see list above
Whats your favorite tv show? As a kid, it was definitely CHiPS (scary, I know)... my current favorite is Big Love
Whats your favorite music? I don't have a favorite, my music collection and ipod playlist crosses almost every genre
Favorite band/artist? way too hard to say... it depends on my mood
Favorite song? can't nail it down with music (or any of the arts, actually)
What is your hobby. gardening (organic, heirloom vegetables)
If you had to pick a flavor chewing gum would it be mint, bubble gum, cinnamon, or fruit flavored? mint
Do you prefer warm or cold (room temps)? cool
Whats your favorite scent? The woods behind my house after a spring rain
Whats the strangest scent you like? I like cow manure too... that's coming from a city slicker, so I guess that makes me strange.

There are two kinds of people in this world, my friend. Those who like TGTB&TU...and those who are overly concerned with interior decor...

reason i always like the jerk is cuz of the amount of one liners in it

"i was born a poor black child....."

"ps i'll be sending more money soon, as my friend patty promised me a blow job"

"wow this is fun, its like a ride"

"Oh, I'm picking out a thermos, for you
Not an ordinary thermos, for you

But the extra-best thermos, you can buy

With vinyl, and stripes, and a cup built right in

I'm picking out a thermos for you

And maybe a barometer too

And what else can I buy, so on me you'll rely

A rear-end thermometer too"
